FTB Chair to discuss ways to file fast, CalEITC and other cash-back tax credits, avoiding scams and more
Sacramento – State Controller and Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Chair Malia M. Cohen will be available for interviews on tax tips for last-minute filers from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at FTB in Sacramento.
Visuals include FTB employees at work in the tax return processing area, highlighting state-of-the-art equipment including high-speed document scanners and machinery used to open tax returns. With thousands of returns processed daily, scenes will emphasize the fast-paced environment and specialized equipment that help FTB meet the demands of tax season.
