The Political Reform Act of 1974 authorizes the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) to conduct political reform audits. The Political Reform Act mandates that you provide all required information for these audits. If you fail to provide all of the required information, then you are subject to administrative, criminal, or civil prosecution. All completed FTB Political Audit reports are public records open for public inspection and reproduction. (California Government Code Sections 81000–91014 and California Code of Regulations Sections 18109-18997)

We will not disclose, make available, or otherwise use your personal information for other than the specified purpose, except with the consent of the subject of the information, or as required by law. (California Government Code Section 90005)
