McClintock Appeal Update

In the November 2007 issue of Tax News, we reported on the State Board of Equalization’s (SBE) unpublished decision in the Appeal of Jessica McClintock. The SBE decision on “qualified employees” for employers who claim the enterprise zone hiring credit held that a person eligible for the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) public assistance program may be considered a “qualified employee” for the enterprise zone hiring credit.
