Purpose of bulletin
To inform staff we will mail Notice of Public Disclosure of Tax Delinquency letters on February 17, 2012. We will send the letters to the top 500 delinquent Personal and Business Entity taxpayers with a tax delinquency over $100,000. We will then publish this information on our public website on April 12, 2012.
California Revenue and Taxation Code §19195 authorizes us to publicly disclose the names, addresses, and secured amounts owed of the top 500 delinquent individual and business entity taxpayers who owe over $100,000. We are also required to include any occupational or professional license status, and the names and titles of principal officers of any corporations. This list is updated bi-annually.
Direct taxpayers who receive the letter to:
- PIT 888.426.8555
- BE 888.426.8751
- ftb.ca.gov and search for top delinquency
