PURPOSE OF BULLETIN

To inform staff of changes for the Business e-file Program.

BACKGROUND

Businesses are able to e-file the following return types and tax periods beginning on or after January 1, 2008.

Form 2007 Tax Year 2006 Tax Year 2005 Tax Year
100 X X X
100S X X  
565 X X  
568 X X  

FUTURE EXPANSION

Later in 2008, we will begin accepting Form 100W, California Corporation Franchise or Income Tax Return-Water’s Edge Filers, and Combined Returns, for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2008.

Preparers should check with their software provider to see if they support Business e-file.
