Assembly Bill 1592 (Leonard), as enacted on August 18, 1997, made the following changes to California law:
SUBJECT: Renter's Credit/Suspended until January 1, 1998
Section 17053.5 of the Revenue and Taxation Code is amended.
This act delays the reinstatement of the renter's credit from the 1997 taxable year to the 1998 taxable year.
As a tax levy, this act applies to the 1997 taxable year.
This act does not require any reports by the department to the Legislature.
