Tax Counsel Internet Exam
The FTB is currently using the California's Board of Equalization Tax Counsel Examination to make Tax Counsel appointments. This is an experience and education based exam.
When answering the questions, use all experiences: work (paid or volunteer), education, and life. Applicants who take and pass the Board of Equalization Tax Counsel Examination will be eligible for appointment by Franchise Tax Board.
