Shipping Information

The Public Distribution Program will mail public distribution sites an annual letter in September. This letter will provide public distribution sites with their unique I.D. Code, the quantities of Resident, Non-Resident/Part-Year Resident and 540 2EZ booklets ordered the previous year, and an order form to order public distribution materials for the current year. We ask that the quantities scheduled for distribution be reviewed. If a different amount is needed, complete the order form with new quantities and return it to the Franchise Tax Board. If the previous year's order is to remain the same you don't need to do anything.

In early December we mail a packet to public distribution sites. This mailing includes distribution information and a supply of Automated Assistance cards for taxpayers.

In late December we ship the initial order of California State Personal Income Tax Booklets to the public distribution sites and continue to ship reorders as needed.

California's Package X, loose-leaf version is shipped as soon as the product is available.
