Mission Statement

The Public Distribution Program ensures that taxpayers can get California state income tax forms quickly and conveniently through volunteer public distribution sites. We strive to provide excellent customer service to volunteer public distribution sites, enabling them to provide this valuable distribution service to their community with the greatest ease.

Program Description

Through the Public Distribution Program, we provide California personal income tax booklets to sites throughout California and to many areas outside of California. Many organizations such as post offices, libraries, and others volunteer to serve as public distribution sites.

The distribution sites make booklets available to the community. These sites are a great convenience to taxpayers who need quick access to a form or booklet to meet their reporting requirements.

This program benefits public distribution sites, their customers and the State of California.
