Important news (updated 8/5/09) - The Franchise Tax Board is significantly reducing our participation in the annual e-Services Seminars. We will provide materials for the seminars, but we are unable to fund travel for staff to attend the seminars. Our decision to scale back on our participation was a very difficult one, yet very necessary. As we all know, state government is experiencing substantial budget reductions. These reductions have resulted in cut-backs to some of our services. Therefore, after more than a decade of participation in the seminars, we are compelled to cancel our attendance this year.
Bring the following to receive CPE credits and join the e-file Programs:
- Certified Public Accountants (CPA) - a copy of your CPA license.
- Enrolled Agents - a copy of your Enrolled Agent enrollment card.
- California registered tax preparers - your CTEC number and the name of your surety bonding company.
- If you are incorporated - your corporation number.
IRS staff will be available to provide free fingerprinting for those joining their e-file program.
Note: You must be present the entire workshop to receive CPE credits. No partial credit will be given.
