Coming in 2010 - Sign on to My FTB Account

Beginning in the Summer of 2010, we will provide taxpayers, tax professionals, and businesses secure online access to e-services on FTB’s website. You will be able to sign up online. This self registration will replace the current customer service number (CSN) based system. To view a client’s account, tax professionals should have their client’s permission, and will need to provide information from the client’s tax return.

When Sign on to My FTB Account is implemented, taxpayers and tax professionals will be able to view the following account information:

  • Estimated tax payments made
  • Other payments made to FTB
  • Current account balance
  • Wage, withholding and FTB-issued 1099

Business customers will have access to:

  • Web Pay for business entities – a new online service

Additional e-services such as those listed below will be added in future years:

  • View or cancel web payments for businesses and individuals
  • View account information for businesses
  • Enhancements to My FTB Account for individuals, such as:
    • Update address
    • View return summary
