  1. What are Subscription Services?
    Our subscription services allow you to receive email messages about topics and services important to you. You may subscribe or unsubscribe, twenty-four hours a day.

  2. What will happen to my information?
    Your email address and ZIP Code (optional) will be stored on our subscription list server. Our server is placed in a secure environment and meets all of the State's security and disclosure standards. For more information, please refer to FTB's privacy policy.

  3. How do I subscribe?
    To subscribe, click on new subscriber and follow the instructions. After you complete the process, we will send you an email to confirm your subscription. You must respond to this email to activate your subscription.

  4. How do I unsubscribe or change my existing subscription?
    To unsubscribe or change your existing subscription, click on existing subscriber, enter your email address, and click submit. On the Subscription Services - Account Profile page, follow the directions and save your changes.

  5. What if my email address changes?
    If your email address changes and you wish to continue your subscription, complete these two steps:
          Step 1. Unsubscribe using your old email address.
          Step 2. Subscribe as a new member using your new email address.

  6. I signed up and I'm not receiving messages. Why?
    Make sure you received and responded to our confirmation email. If you did not receive a confirmation email, complete the subscription process again and make sure you enter your email address correctly. You may need to add subscription services to your list of approved senders. If the problem persists, send an email to:
    listmanager@ftb.ca.gov.

  7. Why are you asking for my ZIP Code?
    Providing your ZIP Code is optional and will only be used to send information that pertains to your area.
